Kamal-Deen Abdulai, a former National Nasara Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has advised the newly elected Nasara Coordinator not to be an armchair leader who only makes noise.
According to him, though Abdul Aziz Haruna Futa has won the election, he should engage experienced ones in the party in order to work in unison to progress the fortunes of the party and retain power come 2020.

“We thank God for seeing us through this election but my advice to the newly elected Nasara coordinator is not to be an armchair nasara coordinator. He should engage experienced minds who will assist him to work for the betterment of the party”, he said.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak management member, beat competition from 13 others to become the Nasara Coordinator.
He polled 201 votes to win the position at the NPP’s National Delegate’s Conference held at the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region.

Futa had promised to use his influence to snatch the Asawase Constituency seat from the opposition National Democratic Congress if he gets the nod.
But speaking on Adom TV’s Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Monday, Kamal Deen, who does not see himself as a loser stated that as a Nasara Coordinator, he must always be on the field, collating information that would strategically position the party to develop.

“The major fight ahead of us is our opponent, the NDC, so we need to come together else the fight ahead of us will be difficult. I have no doubt he will deliver but he shouldn’t be quiet about issues of the Zongos” he urged.
He said complacency must be avoided if he wants to build a true stronghold.
