The Abeka District Court has adjourned the case involving accused, Charles Nana Frimpong, charged with the murder of mechanic, Yaw Boadi to October 2, 2017.
The adjournment of the case follows an appeal to the court by the prosecution that the police are yet to receive the full autopsy report to conclude investigation.
A submission of bail to the court by counsel for the accused person, George Amaliba pleaded for bail while the police continue with their investigations.
The court presided over by Justice Mrs. Voctoria Quansah rejected his plea and remanded the accused to appear on October 2.
The deceased, Yaw Boadi, died from a gunshot wound after two days at the hospital.
Eyewitnesses at the scene of the shooting recounted that the timely intervention and subsequent arrest of the suspect by security personnel calmed the situation.
One of them who spoke to Citi News said there was heated exchange of words before the gun was fired.
