The Zongo Chief of Asante Akyem Ofoase, Alhaji Iman Abddul Hamid Zamzeh has called on Zongo youth to eschew violence and comport themselves to ensure the rapid development of the Zongo communities.

He said it is imperative that the youth resisted any attempt by a political party to use them to cause mayhem in the country.

Alhaji Iman Abddul made the call when the Director of Communication for the Middle Belt Authority, Kwabena Boateng Asante paid a courtesy call on him over the weekend.

As part of effort to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in Zongo communities, he said organize public education in the zongo communities to sensitize the youth on the need to embrace peace.

The leadership, Iman said would be organising public education in the various zongo communities in the region to sensitise the youth on the need to embrace peace.

Alhaji Iman Abddul also urged the youth to be law-abiding citizens and contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the nation.

For his part, the Director of Communication of Middle Belt Authority, Kwabena Boateng Asante appealed to the Muslim youth to take education seriously and go into productive ventures to better their standards of living.

He also donate books, jersey and many items to Asante Akyem Ofoase Zongo communities.
