The National Chief Imam Sheirk Usman Nuhu Sharabutu has praised the Okyenhene Osagyefo Ampoatia Ofori Panin for his exemplary leadership skills and commitment to development.

The Chief Oman has described the Okyenhene a traditional ruler who has exhibited maturity and decorum and has facilitated peace-building since assuming office as the Overlord of Akyem Abuakwa.

He also commended Ofori Panin Fie ruler for leaving peacefully with the Zongo communities within Okyeman.

The National Chief Imam Sheik Nuhu Sharabutu made the comments when he paid a courtesy call on the Okyenhene.

As part of measures to facilitate peace within the Zongo communities before, during and after the 2020 elections, the Chief Imam said his office had appointed two liaison officers who will be in constant communication with the office of the IGP to resolve issues within the Zongo communities.

He named those appointed for the purpose as appointed are Usman Mohammadu Mansour  and  Mohammed Hafis Nuhu Sharabutu.

He introduced the two to Okyenhene and asked for his support.

Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin also pledged to continue to commit to peace building, saying religion shouldn’t be a barrier for peace building.

He eulogized the Chief Imam for distinguishing himself as a man of peace adding that he is a model of peace building in the world.
