Immediate past National Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC], Kofi Adams says members of the NDC cannot replace former President Mahama for any other candidate.
According to him, likewise, Ghanaians cannot leave him for any other presidential candidate in its next election in 2020.
To Kofi Adams, former President John Mahama has the credentials, experience, and expertise to solve the countless problems facing the nation and take Ghana to the ‘Promised Land’.

“Former President Mahama has already built a foundation for his second coming, therefore the party need not look for a different candidate who will have to start all over again . . . this has a greater advantage of preventing the party from winning the upcoming election,” he said.
“Mahama is so visible that we cannot change him for anyone. I will continue to recommend former President John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s next President to get the nation on track,” he added.

Kofi Adams admitted in an interview with UTV that his party has realized its mistakes made before, during and after the 2016 elections and has put up proper mechanisms to check all those faults.
“We have realized all our faults in the previous years, especially during the 2016 elections and will better every mistake made to achieve our key responsibility, which is to win the 2020 elections,” he told UTV.
