Deputy Minister in charge of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Gifty Twum-Ampofo, has advised young ladies in the senior high school to be vigilant and focus on their books and education rather than allowing themselves to be sexual abused by their teachers.
She made this statement on Rainbow radio 87.5 in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Frontline.
She further said students can pass their exams without having sex with their teachers in order to pass their exams.
She continued by saying students should not be scared to report any authority who harass them sexually and further encouraged them to be bold enough to say no.
