Spanish giants Barcelona have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah from Dreams FC following an impressive loan spell with Barça Atlètic.

The 20-year-old has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the Catalan club until June 30, 2028, with an option to extend his stay by a further year.

The deal was officially completed in the presence of Barcelona’s Director of Youth Football, Jose Ramon Alexanko, highlighting the club’s confidence in the Ghanaian youngster’s long-term potential.

Issah initially joined Barça Atlètic on a season-long development loan from Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC in the summer of 2024.

After a difficult start to life in Spain, the winger found his form during the latter stages of the campaign under coach Juliano Belletti.

His impressive resurgence saw him score four goals and emerge as one of the reserve side’s standout performers, convincing Barcelona to exercise the option to sign him permanently.

The transfer marks another major milestone in Issah’s career as the Ghana youth international continues his steady rise at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has already revealed that Issah will have opportunities to train and feature with the club’s first-team squad during pre-season under head coach Hansi Flick, giving the talented winger a chance to stake his claim for a place in the senior team ahead of the new season.
