The former National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan, has declared his intention to contest for the National Organiser position of the NDC.
According to him, the internal wrangling in the party is making the NDC unpopular thus needs experience people like himto ensure cohesion.
”I am coming back strongly for the position of National Organizer and I do not care who will contest with me. I believe the grassroots need a formidable team that will drive the NDC to power in the 2020 elections. I will offer myself if indeed am given the nod” he said on Accra based Okay FM.
Mr Boateng said the NDC needs more loyal and committed people to work assiduously if they want to win the 2020 elections.
He maintained that, if leadership had paid attention to the grassroots, the NDC would not be in opposition.
“Sometimes I find it hard to believe why leadership selects people to work when indeed we have committed and hardworking members in the party. I’m ready to serve my party anytime and any day” he stressed.
“If the grassroots of the party are resourced, victory will be for the party in 2020” he added.
