National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer aspirant, Dr Ekwow Spio0-Garbrah, says there was no sign of incompetence in ex-President Mahama’s administration.

The politician, in an interview on Asempa FM‘s political talk show, Ekosii Sen, said the onus lies on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who have tagged the former president with “incompetence” to provide evidence to that effect.

Citing the much-talked-about Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airpot as an example of why the former president can’t be described as incompetent, Mr Spio Grabrah said the same can’t be said of the current government.

He has decried the worsening economic conditions and the increasing difficulties in Ghanaians lives, saying his interactions with businessmen in the country have revealed to him that all is not well.

he said monies borrowed by the Mahama government was evident in infrastructure, schools, hospitals and roads that sprung up during his administration.

He noted that same can’t be said about the current government who he believes cannot account for anything since they stepped into office in 2016.

He added that he can’t, therefore, take such comments of incompetence from the current government saying the Akufo-Addo government, despite their juicy promises and catchy slogans in the 2016 electioneering campaign have so far failed to deliver on their promises.

He said the NDC ensured a more stable economy, but same cannot be said of the incumbent government under President Akufo-Addo, who has dipped the country into difficulty.
