Aspiring National youth organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dominic Eduah, says his vision for the party is beyond 2028.
According to Mr Eduah, the NPP will stay in government beyond the 2020 polls and also win in 2024 and 2028.
“The NPP will break the 8-year rule and in doing so, the party needs people like me to help break that jinx. We will break this monotony of eight-year rule by each of the two major political parties in Ghana” he said.
Dominic Eduah was speaking exclusively on Asempa FM’s “Ekosii Sen” Monday afternoon.
He indicated that he will play a key role to support the party’s national officers, support presidents and government to make sure that the party’s base and grassroots also get a life.
It is now almost certain that the National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Sammy Awuku, may not lead his party’s youth into the 2020 elections.
Awuku is said to be eyeing the position of National Organizer, leaving a huge vacuum to be filled.
But Dominic Eduah who is contesting the National youth organizer seat says he has the full support of his boss, Mr Awuku.
He said when given the nod, he will build a formidable, youth group that will lead the NPP campaign into the 2020 elections.
Dominic Edua, said he is no stranger to student’s politics as he ably served as Awuku’s trusted lieutenant prior to the 2016 elections, crisscrossing across the country.
