The Member of Parliament for Manhyia North is calling for a probe into how a 20 million-euro-loan approved by Parliament for the construction of Kumasi roads was diverted to the Asawase constituency.

Collins Owusu Amankwaah is accusing the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) government of deliberately denying Kumasi its fair share of road development.

He tells Luv News Manhyia North and its deplorable roads are as a result of a political move by the NDC administration to score cheap points in the Asawase constituency.

He says he has tabled the issue before the Roads Minister calling for a probe into how the Kumasi town roads loan was disbursed.

He was speaking to Luv News when he donated an ambulance, medical equipment and drugs valued at 85 thousand Ghana cedis to health centres at Buokrom and Moshie Zongo in the Ashanti region.
