The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe has advised Hiplife musician Kwame A Plus not to contest the chairmanship position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Gomoa Central in the Central Region.

He believes the musician does not deserve to be called a chairman of a constituency after making damning allegations against party members.

“A Plus is just not serious in life. After accusing your own party members, you expect to be called a chairman? And which party member will waste their time and vote for a selfish and a liar like you.

“I am telling A Plus that he should forget his chairmanship position because he won’t win and I will make sure he loses and not be a chairman for people he will always accuse of corruption” he warned.

Kwame A Plus has declared his intention to contest the chairmanship position of the NPP in Gomoa Central in the Central Region.

According to him, his interest arises from the desire to understand grassroots politics.

The musician-turned-politician was vibrant on social media in the run up to the 2016 elections, expressing his distaste for the now opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) through music and campaigned strongly for the NPP then presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

A Plus has over the past week been in the media over corrupt allegations he levelled against the two deputy chiefs of staff, Mr Francis Asenso-Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor.

But describing A Plus as an ‘arrogant’ man, Abronye DC as he is popularly known urged the musician to rather focus on his music career and not stop wasting his time on becoming a chairman.
