Defeated National Organiser contestant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Baba Jamal, has disclosed that he has supplied phones to all 275 constituency offices of his party.

The move, according to Mr Jamal, is in fulfilment of a campaign promise he made prior to the natrional delegates congress of his party.

Mr Jamal said though he lost the elections, he still finds it prudent to fulfill his promise because the party needed to be connected in global a world such as ours.

As I talk to you, all the 275 constituencies have office phones,” he disclosed.

The phones, according to Mr Jamal, also serve as a directory for the offices because they have the phone contacts of every region, constituency, members of parliament and every other contacts the offices may need, adding “if you have the directory, you have the NDC in your hand”.

Mr Jamal who is also a former MP for the Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, made this known on Adom TV’s morning show “Badwam” Thursday.

The project which was launched and excuted by Mr Jamal is one he said he had officially written to the General Secretary of the party to inform him about the its completion.

Mr Jamal noted that the project will relieve party members of the stress they go through when searching for numbers of other offices.

Mr Jamal consted the NDC national executive elections as an organiser hopeful but lost to Joshua Akamba in what was a closely-contested election.
