Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God

President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso is threatening to lead a demonstration against the introduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in Ghanaian public schools.

According to him, the acronym (CSE) is Comprehensive Satanic Engagement to destroy the future of Ghanaian children.

“For the first time, I will lead a demonstration against it. We will boycott it with all our might,” he said in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Monday.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has been lampooned for subtlety promoting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) movement in its new curriculum.

Beginning next year, pupils in all public schools, including five-year-olds, will be taught CSE. The aim, the GES maintains is empowered with values that would protect them from sexual harassment.

Most critics, mostly parents and anti-gay civil society organisations, argue that, it is too early to teach children aged five about sex.

In support, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso said GES through the new curriculum is “softly packaging satanic, demonic agenda for our children.”

He is convinced some texts and modules in the curriculum that will guide the CSE programme will promote LGBT.

Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso, who is also the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, said they won’t allow CSE to be taught in their schools.

“Our children should walkout from the classrooms, our teachers will not teach and we will close our schools,” he opined.

Rather, the man of God suggested the Bible or Quran should be the guide for teachers to imbibe good morals in the children.

“From Genesis to Revelation is enough to teach the children life skills but this CSE is one of the junks they want to throw at us,” he fumed.

Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso called on all religious leaders to join in the fight to resist the gay agenda which will erode the moral fiber of the Ghanaian society.
