Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas says he will not be distracted by attempts by some people to label him as corrupt after his latest exposé on corruption in football.

According to him, those alleging that he has taken bribe should come out with their evidence because he believes he is clean.

“I have never taken a bribe from anyone. I think all these allegations are coming up just to distract me and my investigations and I will never allow that to bring me down. My team and I still remain focused” he said.

After his latest corruption exposé captured in his Number 12 undercover documentary jointly produced with the BBC, lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong, has vowed to “strip” the journalist “naked”.

But speaking on Joy FM’s Morning Show Thursday, Anas said  he remains undaunted by efforts of his detractors to “frustrate and derail” him.

“These are tactics to shift focus. People are just blowing hot air” he stated.

The outspoken journalist, however, challenged those with incriminating evidence against him to face him in court and prove it.

“This was what many call immersion journalism, or undercover journalism. I am an undercover journalist. My journalism is hinged on three basic principles: naming, shaming and jailing. Journalism is about results. It’s about affecting your community or your society in the most progressive way. I have worked on this for over 14 years, and I can tell you, the results are very good.

“My kind of journalism is a product of my society. I know that sometimes people have their own criticisms about undercover journalism. And so if you have any case against me, just go to ocurt and prove it” he dared.
