General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams has described women as powerful people who are always used by God to impact society.
He said women are powerful in their own right.
“I don’t think that women are second class citizens and I don’t know where that idea is coming from; but I think it is cultural and religious issues”.
Speaking in an interview with Daniel Dadzie on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, the Archbishop recounted scenarios in the Bible where God used women for a course.
“God has always needed women to play a role; so if you look at scripture carefully, God in the new creation, needed a Mary and when he needed who to precedes the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, John the Baptist, he needed an Elizabeth”, he explained.
He said “when he wanted a deliverer to bring deliverance to the entire Jewish race in the time of King Ahasherus of the Persian Empire, He needed an Esther”.
According to the man of God, his salvation and the growth of his ministry were through women.
“I became born again through a woman at the birth of affliction and I have been blessed by women over the years and my ministry someway has also been moved to a different level through women”, he narrated.
