Founder and leader of Glorious Word Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah says investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas should be invited by  the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following the much-anticipated video “Who watches the watchman”, produced by the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong.

Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah who was at the premiering of ‘WHO WATCHES THE WATCHMAN’ Wednesday night described as unprofessional and improper for ace investigative journalist to involve in such illegality.

“CID should invite Anas now. After watching the video, I believe Anas is very corrupt and has been bought. Kennedy Agyapong is indeed a hero and Ghanaians should not be angry at him. He needs to answer to the police now because he is corrupt” he said on Accra based Neat fm.

Before the premier of “Who watches the watchman”, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong in a brief interaction with the media said, “for my film, I have pieced together several evidence from persons who have encountered a different Anas over the years.”

The video, in Kennedy Agyapong’s own version of secret recordings narrates how Anas operates undercover and also captures the journalist heard and seen negotiating an amount of money in a gold scam case dated way back to September 2009 in an unsecured place in Accra Newtown between one Mubarak and Baba Tunde as bribe to squash those caught on tape in very compromising situations.

The outspoken Man of God described Anas as a “corrupt journalist” who should never be entertained.

“Anas does not deserve to be a journalist because I know some journalists are very good but Anas is very wicked and should be investigated as soon as possible” he stated.
