Four men have been arrested by the Cape Coast Regional Police Command for allegedly killing a 14-year-old girl, Ivy Tsibu for suspected ritual purposes.

The suspects are believed to be Sakawa men at Twifo Agona in the Twifo Ati-Morkwaa district of the Central Region.

The suspects were identified as Kwabena Asamoah 35 years, Abraham Entie 28, Kofi Owusu 36, and Akwesi Asamoah.

Sources close to the police indicate that the deceased’s private parts were cut off by the men with the girl’s body left at the Twifo Agona cemetery.

In an interview with Adom News, the Central Regional Police PRO, DSP Irene Oppong said the suspects have admitted to committing the crime.

“The father of the deceased came to inform us that his daughter was missing so we had to go with him because he told us he suspected one Akwesi Asamoah,” she said.

The Assemblyman for Twifo Agona electoral area, Michael Adorvlor, has explained that he was shocked because the suspects are persons he couldn’t believe could carry out such an act.
