The leadership of Asomdwee Ntonton Som, led by Nyame Somafo Yawoh, has honoured the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, for his contribution to Ghana’s politics and democracy.
The organisation presented Mr Asiedu Nketiah with an award dubbed “Colossus of Ghana Politics.”
Asomdwee Ntonton Som, which has a membership of more than 160,000 people across the country, said the NDC National Chairman has played a significant role in Ghana’s political development and democratic governance.
According to the church, his contribution to Ghana’s democracy has helped strengthen the country’s peace and political stability.
The church also presented Mr Asiedu Nketiah with a plaque in recognition of his service to the nation.
Speaking to Adom News on behalf of Asomdwee Ntonton Som, Isaac Aidoo, popularly known as Sakofa, said Mr Asiedu Nketiah has served Ghana and his political party with dedication.
