Residents of Ashanti Juaben in the Ashanti region are applauding the government for providing massive infrastructural projects under the ‘One Million One Constituency’ policy.

According to the residents, they used to go through hectic times in getting convenient venues for their social activities.

They also recalled times they had to abandon their farms when it rained as a result of the overflow of their bridges.

The constituency can now rest as the government has commissioned an ultra-modern sports complex, bridges and other projects.

The residents expressed delight when the Chief Executive Officer of the Middle Belt Authority, Joe Dankwah, visited their communities to inspect and commission some projects.

Mr Dankwah further reiterated Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s commitment in establishing the Authority and said the projects would go a long way in helping the residents.

COVID-19 pandemic, he revealed, had posed some challenges but plans had been put in place to ensure effective construction and usage in the shortest possible time.

Also present was the Member of Parliament for the area, Ama Pomaa, who said they did some needful assessments of the people and petitioned the Authority which subsequently gave approval for the sports facilities and sanitation constructions.
