Popular political activist Appiah Stadium has threatened legal action against a female TikToker following allegations she made about their recent meeting.
The controversy began after the TikToker claimed Appiah Stadium contacted her through an intermediary and invited her to meet him before his scheduled trip the following day.
According to her, the meeting took place at an apartment where Appiah Stadium allegedly asked her to tour his room. She claimed she declined the invitation, after which he walked away while pretending to be on a phone call, leaving her feeling embarrassed and disrespected.
She further alleged that he neither offered to pay for her transportation nor provided money for food, accusing him of standing her up and suggesting that his actions reflected a pattern of behaviour towards women.
The allegations quickly gained traction on social media and prompted widespread reactions.
Responding to the claims, Appiah Stadium denied any wrongdoing and accused the TikToker of defaming him by making the matter public and secretly recording videos of him without his consent.
According to him, he only invited her into his room because the waiting area was crowded as he wanted them to have a private conversation.
He also questioned why the TikToker recorded videos of him before they met if, as she claimed, she barely knew him.
Appiah Stadium accused the content creator of chasing clout at his expense and insisted she must publicly retract her allegations and issue a verbal apology in the same manner she made the accusations.
“I am taking her on legally,” he said, warning that he would pursue the matter in court if she failed to apologise.
Following the backlash, the TikToker released a public apology, admitting that a video she posted was inappropriate. She said she had removed the content after realising it could have caused misunderstanding, discomfort and disrespect.
It remains unclear whether the apology satisfies Appiah Stadium’s demands, as he maintains that he intends to pursue legal action over the allegations.
