Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo has spoken highly of teammate Erling Haaland, crediting the Norwegian striker for helping him improve key aspects of his game.
The Ghana international, who arrived from AFC Bournemouth during the January transfer window, has made a strong impact at the Etihad Stadium, quickly adapting to Pep Guardiola’s system.
He has so far contributed eight goals and three assists across all competitions, establishing himself as a valuable attacking option.
Speaking on the All Out Football podcast, Semenyo described Haaland as one of the finest finishers in world football and a major source of inspiration.
“He’s amazing… a top goalscorer. I learn a lot from him — movement, finishing — I’m adding it to my game,” he said.
Semenyo recently celebrated his first piece of silverware with Manchester City after their Carabao Cup triumph over Arsenal.
He is expected to be in action when City travel to Turf Moor to face Burnley in their next Premier League fixture, with victory potentially sending Pep Guardiola’s side to the top of the table on 70 points.
