National Organiser of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has described a recent survey conducted by the Centre for Democratic Development [CDD], which found that only 20 percent of persons sampled stated that they would vote for the NDC’s candidate if elections were held as false.
According to him, the CDD is a biased institution which deliberately selects respondents to provide answers that would be skewed in favour of the NPP.

“The NDC no longer believe in the CDD report because we realized that they only conduct their survey based on some selected people whose responses will go in favour of the NPP. They are biased and can never be trusted”, he said on Accra-based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.
A September 2017 survey by the CDD has revealed that whilst 49% of those surveyed said they would vote for the NPP if elections were held tomorrow, only 22% said they would vote for the NDC.

The findings are detailed in responses to question 99 of the survey.
The report also stated that 36 percent of the respondents “felt close” to the NPP, while only 18 percent shared those sentiments with the NDC.
But Mr. Adams, reacting to the report, accused CDD of concentrating mainly on people with NPP leanings.

He noted that the NDC was not scared of the findings, insisting that the NDC would win elections hands down if any was conducted today because the party was better organised now more than ever.
