Rapper Kwaw Kese has announced the passing of his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kyei Baffour, also known as Akosua Serwaa Broni.
The rapper shared the sad news in a social media post, inviting the public to join his family in paying their last respects to the deceased.
Elizabeth Kyei Baffour is the mother of Kwaw Kese’s wife, Doris Nana Pokuaa Kyei Baffour, popularly known as Pokua or Empress Poks.
With just one week to her funeral, Kwaw Kese has called for support for his grieving family.
He invited all well-wishers to join him in giving his beloved in-law a befitting farewell.
According to the funeral announcement released by the family, the burial service and final funeral rites will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 34 Block F, Kentinkrono.
The pre-burial service is scheduled for 7:00 a.m., followed by the burial service at 9:00 a.m. The final funeral rites and reception will be held at the same venue at 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service will follow on Sunday, October 18, at Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC), Ayigya, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The family is expected to receive relatives, friends and sympathisers as they gather to honour the life and memory of Elizabeth Kyei Baffour.
