Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi has taken a piece of his musical journey to the United States Embassy in Accra, where he presented an autographed copy of his memoir, Mr. Music Man: The Journey, to Chargé d’Affaires Rolf Olson.
The encounter offered an opportunity for the celebrated musician and the US diplomat to exchange thoughts on music, culture and the enduring relationship between Ghana and the United States.
Kojo Antwi described the meeting as an honour, reflecting on the value of conversations that bring people together through shared cultural interests and a mutual appreciation of music.
The US Embassy also welcomed the award-winning musician, noting that their discussion explored the role of music and cultural exchange in strengthening people-to-people relations between the two countries.
For Kojo Antwi, whose music has earned him a lasting place in Ghana’s entertainment landscape, the presentation of Mr. Music Man: The Journey offered an opportunity to share his story beyond the songs that have defined his career.
The memoir captures his personal journey, while the meeting highlighted the wider place of Ghanaian music in cultural conversations that extend beyond the country’s borders.
