Almighty International School marks 30 years of excellence, calls for support to expand facilities

Almighty International School in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region has marked 30 years of academic excellence and community empowerment through quality education.

Established in 1994, the school has played a significant role in advancing education in the municipality and has produced numerous scholars who are making meaningful contributions in various fields.

Speaking at the anniversary celebration, the Headmaster of Almighty International School, Salifu Baba Issah, highlighted the institution’s achievements over the past three decades.

He said the school’s success had been built on discipline, self-reliance and a firm commitment to improving students’ academic performance.

The headmaster said the school remained dedicated to nurturing responsible and productive citizens who could contribute to the development of their communities.

He appealed to the government, individuals and other stakeholders to support the school’s development.

According to him, the school had cut sod for the construction of 17 classrooms to improve the learning environment and enhance academic performance.

He expressed confidence that the new facility would significantly improve teaching and learning at the school.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Krachi West, Prosper Addo, acknowledged the important role private schools play in advancing education in the municipality.

He commended the management and staff of Almighty International School for their contribution to the growth of education in the area.

The MCE urged parents to continue supporting their children’s education, regardless of where they lived, and to provide the guidance and resources needed to help them excel.

He also advised students to avoid excessive use of social media and other social vices that could undermine their prospects and jeopardise their future.

The MCE called for stronger partnerships between the municipal authorities and private schools to improve the quality of education in the municipality.

He further encouraged both public and private schools to adopt modern technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to keep pace with global development.

Some past students who spoke to Adom News praised the dedication and sacrifices made by the school’s management and teachers over the years.

They commended the educators for investing their knowledge, time and energy in shaping the lives of students.

The former students also urged current students to uphold the school’s culture and values, noting that these principles would help them achieve their aspirations and succeed in the future.

The anniversary celebration brought together school authorities, teachers, students, parents, past students and community leaders to honour the institution’s achievements and reflect on its contribution to education over the past 30 years.
