Former public servant and Asante Akyem South New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairman, Kyei Noah, has urged young Ghanaians to take advantage of their talents and create employment opportunities rather than depend solely on government for jobs.
According to him, Ghana’s unemployment situation requires a collective effort from government, the private sector and individuals, particularly young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
Speaking to Adom News after his retirement, Mr Kyei Noah said young people must be encouraged to pursue entrepreneurship and develop sustainable businesses that can contribute to economic growth and job creation.
He also called on the youth to demonstrate patriotism by serving the country selflessly, resisting corruption and using their skills to contribute positively to national development.
Mr Kyei Noah made the call during a thanksgiving service held at Asante Akyem Ofoase to mark his retirement from public service.
Meanwhile, Prophet Isaac Kofi Prah of the Twelve Apostles Church in Kumasi also urged the youth to follow positive examples in society by embracing hard work, integrity and a strong commitment to national development.
He advised young people to stay away from corrupt practices and use their abilities to build a better future for themselves and the country.
