British-Nigerian influencer and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died at the age of 43 after suffering a fatal pulmonary embolism following a penis enlargement surgery in Thailand.
According to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, Ubiribo died on March 6, 2026, a day after undergoing the cosmetic procedure at a clinic in Bangkok. The cause of death was linked to the procedure by coroner Jean Harkin, according to reports by TMZ and E! News.
Ubiribo had been on holiday in Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, when he visited a local clinic on March 5 for the procedure.
Medical staff reportedly injected 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine into his penis as part of the enhancement treatment. The procedure reportedly cost about US$9,000.
Hyaluronic acid is a gel-like substance commonly used in cosmetic procedures, including treatments designed to add volume to tissue. In Ubiribo’s case, however, the procedure was followed by a medical emergency.
After the treatment, Ubiribo and his wife reportedly went for a massage. It was there that he began complaining of chest pain before losing consciousness twice, according to details reported by TMZ.
He was subsequently taken to hospital, where doctors determined that he had suffered a pulmonary embolism.
A pulmonary embolism occurs when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel carrying blood to the lungs. It can be life-threatening and requires urgent medical attention.
Doctors at Sukhumvit Hospital reportedly performed CPR on Ubiribo for more than 100 minutes in an effort to save his life, but he died from complications linked to the procedure on March 6.
The subsequent UK postmortem examination reportedly found traces of the filler material in his lungs, adding to the evidence considered in determining the cause of death.
Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic injection caused the fatal embolism, according to reports on the inquest.
Ubiribo was known online for documenting a luxury lifestyle and had built a following under the names “Tiny,” “Denisi” and “Ego.”
His death came months before the details of the medical procedure and its fatal consequences were reported publicly.
The case has since drawn attention to the potential medical risks associated with cosmetic enhancement procedures, particularly when injectable fillers are used in sensitive areas of the body.
