The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a special opportunity for prospective national service personnel affected by biodata mismatch issues to rectify their records and complete their registration.
In a notice dated August 31, 2026, the Authority said affected students who have been unable to resolve their biodata discrepancies should report to the NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Tuesday, September 1 to Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
The exercise is being organised in collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA), Ghana Publishing Company and Commissioners for Oaths.
According to the NSA, the initiative is intended to facilitate the necessary processes to enable affected students to correct their records and complete their national service registration within the stipulated period.
Students who are yet to obtain the required affidavit will be assisted to prepare and swear the document through the Commissioner for Oaths.
Those who require Gazette publication will also be guided through the process by the Ghana Publishing Company.
The NSA further directed students who have already obtained their affidavits and/or Gazette publications to report to the Kumasi Regional Office with the original documents and other relevant supporting documents to enable the necessary changes to be effected.
The Authority said once the corrections have been completed and the students’ records duly aligned, they will be able to proceed with the national service registration process.
It therefore urged all affected students, including those who have completed the affidavit and Gazette processes but are yet to have their records corrected, to report without delay.
Students have also been advised to come along with all relevant original documents, including their Ghana Cards and, where applicable, affidavits and Gazette publications, to facilitate the process.
The NSA urged all affected prospective national service personnel to take advantage of the opportunity and act promptly to regularise their records before the deadline.
