Turkish giants Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Ghana international Kojo Oppong Peprah from French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, with the 22-year-old defender set to be officially unveiled in Istanbul on Saturday.
Oppong Peprah’s signing was confirmed on Friday, August 28 with the deal reported to be worth more than €10m (£8.6m).
Peprah joined Nice from Swedish side IF Norrkoping last summer and quickly established himself as a first-team regular during his debut campaign in France.
He made 39 appearances across all competitions and scored once, with his consistency, physicality and composure in defence attracting interest from several clubs, including fellow Ligue 1 outfit RC Strasbourg.
Fenerbahce ultimately secured his signature, marking another major step in a career that has taken him from Sweden to France and now Turkey in two years.
His impressive club form has also translated onto the international stage.
Peprah earned a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, featuring in matches against England and Croatia during the Black Stars’ campaign across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
