Member of the Council of State representing the Savannah Region, Tingawura Alhaji Sampson Seidu Abudu, has died after a short illness.

The Paramount Chief of Bole Traditional Area, Yiram Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso, together with chiefs and elders of the Sarfope Royal Gate and the people of Bole, announced the death with deep sorrow.

In a statement, the traditional authorities described Tingawura Sampson Seidu Abudu as a revered pillar of the community and a faithful custodian of its traditions.

They said his wisdom, selfless service and commitment to bringing people together had left a lasting mark on the Bole community and beyond.

His mortal remains are expected to be flown from Accra to Bole this morning, where the body will be laid in state at the Bole Royal Museum to allow mourners to pay their final respects.

The Paramount Chief has invited chiefs, queen mothers, elders, relatives and well-wishers to join the Royal House and the bereaved family in mourning the late Council of State member and observing the necessary traditional rites.
