A delegation of women leaders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including the former Western Regional Women Organizer, the newly elected Greater Accra Regional Women Organizer, and Greater Accra Constituency Women Organizers and their deputies, has presented nomination forms for the position of National Women Organizer to Hajia Safia Mohammed.
The delegation, representing the party’s National Women’s Wing, picked the forms and formally presented them to Hajia Safia Mohammed, who is seeking to lead the NPP’s National Women’s Wing.
Addressing the women after the presentation, Hajia Safia Mohammed appealed to members of the Women’s Wing across the country to support her candidacy and vote for her in the upcoming elections.
She expressed confidence in the collective strength of NPP women and called for unity behind her candidature to secure victory in the election.
Hajia Safia Mohammed also pledged to work with women at all levels of the party and champion initiatives aimed at strengthening the participation and contribution of women within the NPP.
She urged delegates to rally behind her vision and vote massively to give her the mandate to serve as the party’s next National Women Organizer.
The presentation of the forms marks another step in the campaign ahead of the NPP’s National Women Organizer election, with contenders expected to engage delegates and outline their respective visions for the future of the Women’s Wing.
