MultiChoice Ghana rewards top-performing trade partners after World Cup sales campaign

MultiChoice Ghana has rewarded its top-performing trade partners and sales representatives following a successful three-month sales competition held during the 2026 FIFA World Cup season.

The awards ceremony took place at the company’s offices in Accra, where outstanding performers were recognised for meeting and exceeding their sales targets between May and July 2026.

The competition was designed to engage and motivate MultiChoice Ghana’s trade partners while building momentum towards the achievement of sales targets during the World Cup period.

Cadmus Electronics Limited emerged as the Best Mega Dealer of the World Cup Season, while Maysat Enterprise finished second and Ebenezer Unique Ventures placed third in the category.

Monthly awards were also presented to the top three performers in various categories, with winners required to achieve or exceed 100 per cent of their set targets during the promotional period.

The ultimate winners in each category were rewarded with a 65-inch television, while certificates signed by MultiChoice Ghana Managing Director, Alex Okyere, were presented to the overall winners.

Among the individual award recipients, Acheampong was named Outstanding Regional Sales Manager of the World Cup Season, while Godfred Boakye received the award for Best Territory Sales Manager. Solomon Okorley was named the second-best Territory Sales Manager.

Bright Essang was recognised as the Outstanding Team Leader of the World Cup Season, with Hope Nornyikpo taking the Outstanding Distributor Executive award.

Kwame Asante emerged as the Best Direct Sales Force Agent, followed by Angelina Akakpoa and Cecilia Abena in second and third positions respectively.

In the MNP category, Demuphy Ventures was named Best MNP of the World Cup Season, while Abdul Malik Services and Courage Mensah finished second and third respectively.

Speaking to the winners, the Head of Sales and Distribution at MultiChoice Ghana, Michael Lartey, congratulated them for their strong performances and commitment throughout the campaign.

“To our winners sitting here tonight: you are absolute legends! You played the game, you made the right calls, you stayed glued to the trade, and you delivered the sales to claim the ultimate bragging rights in the Group,” he said.

“You had the strategy, you had the grit, and today, you get the trophies, the prizes, and the glory. You earned every bit of this.”

He also commended the wider MultiChoice Ghana team, Mega Dealers and media partners for their contribution to the success of the campaign.

“I want to say a massive thank you to our phenomenal MultiChoice team, our Mega Dealers, and our media partners who worked around the clock to make this tournament an absolute masterpiece,” he added.

The promotional campaign ran from May 1 to July 31, 2026, coinciding with the World Cup period and forming part of MultiChoice Ghana’s efforts to strengthen relationships with its trade partners while driving sales.

As part of its World Cup offering, MultiChoice Ghana also reduced access to DStv Padi to GH¢58, allowing more households to enjoy the tournament.

With the new football season approaching, MultiChoice Ghana is expected to roll out more promotions and initiatives aimed at rewarding customers and trade partners while enhancing the viewing experience for football fans across the country.
