Alexander Afenyo-Markin, John Dumelo, Bayo Adedeji, Bola Ray and other prominent personalities are set to headline the annual Empower Vault Summit tomorrow, Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Great Hall of the University of Ghana.
The summit is a leadership and mentorship platform aimed at equipping young people with the skills, values and mindset needed to succeed.
The event is being organised by Stables in partnership with the Office of the University of Ghana SRC Vice President.
The initiative seeks to provide young people across Ghana with clarity of purpose, strong personal values and practical tools for leadership, entrepreneurship and personal development.
A distinguished line-up of public officials, business leaders and industry personalities will engage participants throughout the event.
They include Osman Abdulai Ayariga, Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority; Deputy Agriculture Minister John Dumelo; Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Minority Leader and MP for Effutu; and George Opare Addo, Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment.
Other speakers include Dr Dora Oforiwaa Hall, CEO of Zoe Dental; Wakanow CEO Bayo Adedeji; Bola Ray, CEO of EIB Network; Ewura Karim Adams; and Prof Rosina Kyerematen, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Ghana.
The summit will also feature breakout sessions designed to provide participants with more intimate and practical engagement with influential voices and young personalities.
The sessions will feature Endurance Grand, Nyamewaa, Willie Chembez and Asiedu Mends.
A major attraction of the summit will be an entrepreneurship challenge, giving students the opportunity to pitch their businesses, present innovative ideas and compete for a GH¢10,000 cash prize.
The challenge is expected to provide emerging entrepreneurs with an opportunity to gain visibility, receive feedback and demonstrate how their ideas can address real-world challenges.
Scholarship opportunities will also be available for some brilliant but needy students as part of the event.
Senior Project Manager and Brand Strategist for the Empower Vault Summit, Joey Joseph Nii Ayi Otokunor, is leading the project management and strategic direction of the initiative.
“We believe young people do not lack potential; what they often need is the right platform, guidance and opportunity to unlock it. Empower Vault is designed to provide exactly that—connecting young people with leaders, mentors and opportunities that can shape their next chapter,” he said.
The Empower Vault Summit is expected to bring together students, young entrepreneurs, aspiring leaders, creatives and other young people seeking guidance and opportunities to accelerate their personal and professional development.
The organisers say the summit forms part of a broader effort to empower young people to take ownership of their futures, develop strong leadership values and translate their ideas into tangible opportunities.
