A fuel tanker has caught fire at a Shell filling station in Tema Community 7, causing panic among residents and motorists in the area.
The incident occurred after the tanker driver reportedly swerved to avoid a pothole, resulting in the vehicle catching fire at the station.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) confirmed that there was a massive fuel leakage at the location, prompting an immediate response from firefighters.
Firefighters from the Tema Industrial Area and Motorway Fire Stations were dispatched to the scene to contain the situation and prevent the fire from spreading.

The GNFS urged motorists and residents within the community, particularly those around the Tema Technical Institute bus stop, to remain calm, cooperate with emergency personnel and adhere to safety instructions.
Authorities are currently working to bring the situation under control and ensure the safety of people within the area.
