Swedru All Blacks have completed the signing of attacker Faisal Chawetey ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season on a two-year contract.

The newly promoted side confirmed the arrival of the former Nations FC forward as part of their preparations for their return to Ghana’s top flight. Chawetey’s deal will keep him with the Black Magicians until 2028.

The attacking player is expected to add more quality and depth to Swedru All Blacks’ forward line as the club looks to build a competitive team capable of competing against the country’s elite clubs.

Chawetey joins a growing list of new additions as the club continues its recruitment drive ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Having secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League, Swedru All Blacks are focused on assembling a squad strong enough to avoid a difficult battle for survival and establish themselves among the top teams.

The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of September 4–7, 2026, with all participating clubs expected to complete their preparations before the opening fixtures.

The campaign will run until the weekend of May 28–31, 2027.
