Residents of the Juaboso Constituency in the Western North Region have praised their Member of Parliament, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, for spearheading initiatives that have significantly improved healthcare delivery across the constituency.

Some residents of Sefwi Mafia and Sefwi Komeama expressed appreciation to the MP, noting that his commitment to expanding healthcare infrastructure has brought quality health services closer to their communities.

According to the residents, the construction of more than 39 Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds over the years has greatly improved access to primary healthcare, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances to seek medical attention.

The commendation came during the commissioning of the new health centres at Sefwi Komeama and Sefwi Mafia. Residents said the facilities will ease the burden of travelling to distant towns for treatment and ensure timely access to quality healthcare services.

They described the health centres as a major boost to healthcare delivery in the constituency and expressed optimism that the facilities would improve the overall well-being of the people.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Sefwi Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, assured that he will continue to add more health facilities to improve the quality of healthcare delivery.

Also, the Juaboso District health director, Dr Deborah Mensah, indicated that the newly commissioned facilities would improve health care services in the district.
