The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for 18,617 eligible nurses and midwives to enable them to enrol for the 2026/27 national service year.

In a press release signed by the Director-General of the Authority, Ruth Dela Seddoh, on May 25, 2026, the NSA said the PIN codes were generated following the submission of a list of qualified nurses and midwives by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana on Friday, May 22, 2026.

According to the statement, the list comprises candidates who successfully passed the August/September 2025 licensing examinations conducted by the Council.

“The Management of the National Service Authority (NSA) has today, May 25, 2026, released PIN codes for eighteen thousand, six hundred and seventeen (18,617) eligible nurses and midwives to enable them to enrol for the 2026/27 National Service Year,” the statement said.

The Authority directed all eligible trained nurses and midwives to visit its official website to access their PIN codes using their student ID numbers and dates of birth.

Prospective service personnel were also informed that a registration fee of GH¢82.00 must be paid via mobile money across all networks to access the enrolment platform.

According to the Authority, the enrolment exercise began on May 25, 2026, and will end on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Management urged all prospective national service personnel to complete their online registration within the stipulated period.

The NSA further reminded the public that under Section 29(1) of the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), only Ghanaian citizens who have completed tertiary education are eligible to undertake national service.
