The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season came to a dramatic close across various match venues, producing stunning results and high-scoring encounters on the final day.

At the Baba Yara Stadium, Asante Kotoko endured a disappointing end to their campaign after suffering a shock 2-1 defeat to Swedru All Blacks.

In Accra, Hearts of Oak thrilled their supporters with an impressive 4-2 victory over newly crowned champions Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians capped off their season in style with an attacking display against the league winners.

Basake Holy Stars also delivered one of the biggest surprises of the day, overpowering Dreams FC 4-1 at the AAK II Park. Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea edged regional rivals Bechem United 3-2 in an entertaining contest at the Golden City Park.

The most emphatic result of the season came at DUN’s Park, where Bibiani Gold Stars dismantled relegated Eleven Wonders 8-3 in a goal-laden encounter, recording the biggest win of the 2025/26 campaign.

Heart of Lions, meanwhile, were handed three points and three goals after Hohoe United withdrew from the league fixture.

Elsewhere, Karela United suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Nations FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, while Vision FC cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over Aduana FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

Young Apostles also ended their season on a positive note, securing a 2-0 win against FC Samartex at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

Although Medeama SC had already secured the league title before the final round of matches, the concluding fixtures confirmed Bibiani Gold Stars, Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC among the clubs occupying the top four positions at the end of the campaign.

At the other end of the table, the curtain came down painfully for Heart of Lions, Hohoe United and Eleven Wonders, who were relegated from the Ghanaian top flight following the conclusion of the season.
