Kwahu Tafo Chief hails 24-hour economy market project

The Chief of Kwahu Tafo, Nana Kwasi Opoku Minta, has described the construction of the 24-hour economy market in the area as a major development that will boost economic activities and improve livelihoods.

Nana Kwasi Opoku Minta made the remarks during the official handing over of the market project site at Kwahu Tafo.

Addressing residents and stakeholders at the ceremony, he commended the government for fulfilling its campaign promise through the implementation of the 24-hour economy market initiative.

According to the chief, the project will create business opportunities, attract traders, and help improve commercial activities within the community and the district at large.

He noted that when completed, the market would contribute significantly to the economic growth of the area.

“We are grateful to the government for bringing this project to Kwahu Tafo. This market will help businesses grow and improve the local economy,” he said.

Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for Kwahu East, Samuel Asamoah, said the project would help the Assembly generate more revenue and support economic development in the district.

He assured residents of the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with the contractor to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.

“This project is very important to the district. We will cooperate fully with the contractors to ensure quality work is completed on schedule,” he stated.
