More than 61,000 students from technical and vocational institutions across Ghana are set to sit for this year’s Certificate II examinations, according to the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The Director-General of the Commission, Zakaria Sulemana, disclosed the figure during a media briefing on Monday ahead of the examinations. He said measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth and credible process.
Mr. Sulemana cautioned against examination malpractice, stressing that it will not be tolerated. He urged invigilators and supervisors to maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism throughout the exercise.
The Certificate II examinations form a key part of Ghana’s TVET certification pathway, assessing students’ technical and vocational competencies before progression or entry into the workforce.
