Gospel musician Diana Hamilton has been crowned Best Gospel Artiste of the Year at the 27th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) currently underway at the Grand Arena in Accra.

The award-winning singer emerged victorious in one of the highly competitive gospel categories on the night.

Diana Hamilton beat competition from fellow gospel musicians Piesie Esther, MOGMusic, Kofi Owusu Peprah, Mabel Okyere and Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta to win the award.

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards celebrates outstanding achievements in Ghana’s music industry and has brought together musicians, producers, entertainment personalities and music lovers from across the country.

Her award comes after a stellar performance on the night which brought down the ears of God to the earth.

The ceremony continues with more performances and award presentations as fans celebrate another year of Ghanaian music excellence.
