President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned a new Divisional Police Headquarters at Laasi in Odumase Krobo in the Eastern Region, in a move aimed at strengthening security and improving policing in the area.

The ceremony was attended by the Konor of Manya Krobo and President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, Nene Sakite II, alongside other traditional leaders, security officials, and residents.
The new facility is expected to boost the operational capacity of the Ghana Police Service within the municipality and nearby communities, helping to improve response times and overall law enforcement.

As part of the commissioning, President Mahama donated a pickup vehicle and two motorcycles to the division to support patrols and enhance efficiency.

The project forms part of broader government efforts to strengthen security at the local level and ensure safer communities across the country.
