Swedru All Blacks head coach Ahmed Fathi has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons for leaving the club.

The Egyptian tactician was appointed following the team’s promotion back to the Ghana Premier League and took charge at a crucial time as the Black Magicians sought stability in the top flight.

Fathi faced early pressure, with sections of the fan base calling for his dismissal after a difficult start to the season. Despite the scrutiny, the team recovered to finish ninth at the halfway point of the campaign.

In a message shared on social media on Saturday, Fathi thanked supporters for their backing and confirmed his decision to step aside.

“Dear Swedru All Blacks fans, thank you for your support. I have decided not to continue for personal reasons, with full respect to the club and everyone who works in it. I wish the club continued success,” he stated.

The Ghana Premier League club is yet to formally confirm the Egyptian coach’s departure.
