MobileMoney LTD, a subsidiary of MTN Ghana, has recognised its top partners and innovators at the 2025 Fintech Stakeholder Dinner & Awards held in Accra. The annual event serves as a major platform for fostering collaboration within Ghana’s rapidly growing digital financial sector.
This year’s ceremony, held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, was themed “Celebrating the Power of Partnership and Service Excellence in Fintech.” It brought together industry leaders, policymakers, technology innovators, and key stakeholders who play pivotal roles in Ghana’s digital financial ecosystem.

Speaking to Adom News, Paapa Osei, Head of Legal and Reputation Management at MobileMoney LTD, explained that the event was created to acknowledge the contributions of partners and encourage continued support for the advancement of mobile money services.
“This awards and dinner night is meant to motivate our stakeholders and partners,” he said. “Their support has been instrumental in enhancing mobile money operations, and we want them to feel appreciated and encouraged to do even more.”
Paapa Osei also highlighted the central role of collaboration in driving innovation and sustaining growth within the fintech space.

“The Fintech Stakeholder Dinner & Awards has become one of our flagship platforms. It is designed to honour excellence, recognise strategic partnerships, and celebrate the remarkable progress Ghana is making in digital finance,” he noted.
Addressing concerns about mobile money fraud, he stated that MobileMoney LTD, in partnership with various fintech companies, continues to intensify measures to reduce fraudulent activities.
“We are working closely with our partner fintech institutions to fight mobile money fraud. But customers must also stay vigilant. At the end of the day, your safety is in your own hands,” he said.
