A fresh batch of Ghanaian travellers arriving in Israel have reportedly encountered no ill-treatment, restrictions, or impediments, according to official updates from Ghana’s Embassy in Tel Aviv.

The confirmation comes amid heightened public concern over the treatment of Ghanaian nationals at Israeli ports of entry in recent days.

Foreign Ministry sources said embassy officials closely monitored the latest arrivals and submitted detailed reports indicating that all passengers were received without incident. The Ministry described the development as “reassuring,” noting that it reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between the two countries.

The update follows a recent wave of deportations that sparked diplomatic discussions in both Accra and Tel Aviv. Earlier reports indicated that several Ghanaians were repatriated upon arrival in Israel under unclear circumstances. In response, Israeli travellers arriving in Accra were also deported by Ghanaian authorities in a reciprocal move.

In a new statement, the Government of Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to fair treatment for all travellers despite the recent tensions.

“As confirmed by our Embassy in Israel, the latest group of Ghanaian travellers has not faced any form of mistreatment. In that same spirit, Ghana will continue to extend our renowned hospitality to Israeli travellers entering our country,” the Ministry said.
