Presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has arrived in the Ashanti Region to continue his nationwide constituency tour aimed at strengthening grassroots support and fostering unity within the party.
The tour, which is part of his broader political engagement ahead of the 2028 general elections, has already taken him to more than 76 constituencies across the country, including nine in the Ashanti Region. His message of unity, discipline, and grassroots empowerment has been well-received by party members and supporters.
According to his Communications Directorate, the second phase of his Ashanti Region tour will last ten days and cover the remaining constituencies in the region, considered the party’s political stronghold.
The itinerary includes town hall meetings with youth and community leaders, stakeholder engagements with traditional rulers, clergy, and senior party officials, as well as media interactions to further share his vision and rally support for his campaign.
The Directorate described the tour as part of Dr. Acheampong’s wider plan to consolidate the party’s internal cohesion, promote discipline, and strengthen its organizational base ahead of the next elections.
Dr. Acheampong’s leadership approach—described as bold, inclusive, and forward-thinking, is reportedly gaining increasing support among NPP members and stakeholders.

In a statement issued on October 18, his campaign team urged party supporters, the media, and the public to follow updates from the tour via official campaign channels and his social media platforms.
