President John Dramani Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama have fulfilled a key campaign pledge with the completion of ten “Legacy Temple Projects” for the Assemblies of God Church across several regions in Ghana.
The initiative, first promised during Mr. Mahama’s 2024 campaign stop in Navrongo, has delivered modern worship centres fully furnished with instruments and chairs.
Each temple also includes a two-bedroom self-contained apartment to provide comfortable accommodation for resident pastors.
The dual-purpose project is designed to enhance worship experiences while addressing the housing needs of church leaders.
Both Mr. Mahama and Mrs. Mahama, who are members of the Assemblies of God Church, described the initiative as part of their broader commitment to strengthening religious institutions and supporting community development.
