Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has declared his ambition to guide the club to major silverware in the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
The Tarkwa-based side endured a trophyless season last year, but Tanko believes his team is better prepared this time around.
Speaking to the club’s media team ahead of the season’s kickoff on September 12, the former Black Stars assistant coach expressed optimism about Medeama’s chances.
“The team bonding is very good. The players are responding very well. The fans should expect a different Medeama next season,” he said.
Tanko made no secret of his targets, adding, “Honestly, we are aiming to win the Premier League or the FA Cup. We missed out on our target last season, but I’m sure we will make it next season and win laurels.”
Medeama are currently in Ivory Coast as part of their preseason preparations. They will begin their Premier League campaign with an opening-day clash against newly promoted Young Apostles.
