Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Sampson Ahi, has lost his mother.
Although details surrounding her death remain sketchy, Adom News’ Augustine Boah reported that the incident occurred on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
Mr. Ahi, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Sehwi Bodi, is yet to officially comment on the development.
Ahi entered Parliament on January 7, 2005, representing the Juaboso constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He served in that capacity until 2012, when he contested and won the newly created Bodi constituency, which he has represented to date.
